Cleaning advice on 1930s metallic silk dress

Hi all!
Any advice trying to get this orange stain out of this textured silk dress with interwoven metallic threads?

The staining does not look very obvious in your photo. Is it in a particularly noticeable place? I ask because I would be afraid to try much on silk with metallic of that age.

It's just above the front waistline - I didn't notice it when wearing for the pic but on the hanger it's more noticeable. Yeah, I kind of thought it was a long shot on cleaning it..

Yes, I can hardly see it. I wouldn’t try to remove it, I’d just disclose it and say you didn’t try to get it out. Gorgeous dress and great color!

I also would be hesitant as that is a prominent area. I might have tried to very lightly dab a small area with water to see if that would lift it at all.

It is stunning!
