Something I do twice a year - I clean out my closet, take the stuff for the "new" season down and put the other stuff away, and sort all the stuff out that I won't keep. I might have a big closet, but I also have loads of stuff... I also realised that the shop that I have spent the most money on clothes (and shoes) in so far this year is the charity shop 'round the corner. And there are quite enough reasons for doing so, I think, to make make anyone to whom this is a foreign concept, understand why it's a good idea (I don't just buy vintage - I buy "normal" secondhand clothes too):
