Cleaning stains off of cotton?

I just received this darling dress as a Christmas present, and I noticed it has some stains (Tea or coffee perhaps) I'm trying to figure out the best way to remove them, the dress and fabric are in very good condition, I'm just afraid of washing it because of the two colours plus whenever I was vintage I get nervous. I've included cleaning products I have at my disposal. What do you suggest?

Hi Rose, congrats on your lovely Christmas present - I suspect by the permanent pleats on the skirt that your dress is a cotton/polyester mix so the colours should be safe. I'm not familiar with the products you have but I would gently hand wash with a mild detergent (no stain removers) and warm water just to check that the colour is fast and not going to run. If it survives that adventure I would soak for an hour in hot water and use a coloured version of the first one (which is for whites). If that improves it, but the stains are still visible I would repeat.

Good luck!

For some reason the first product says its for whites there then it says for colours elsewhere on the label, I usually use it for two-colour garments. So it should work fine, but I'll have to check for colour fastness before, thank you very much for the help!
