HI,

How are you all? lets see its been a while, and some decisions have had to be made.

My circumstances dictate that I close the Attic on Etsy and l am currently listing the bulk of my stocks on ebay, gosh l must be desperate!

Until such time as l can draw a line under my situation this year I have to make the best of it all and l cannot wear all the hats l have on the hat stand!! If you get my drift.

I have been off work for a few months and am now reorganising myself, my life and my responsibilities.

Once l am through the quagmire and have some agreed settlement or terms, l may start up again where l left off or from scratch.

I have some toes in the waters of tomorrow and am hoping to finish my degree studies at the very least. I should be divorced in a few months and then if all is financially sound, l can attempt to balance on this firmly drawn line.

I hope to renew my membership shortly on the back of my ebay listings, if that is ok?!

Thank you for all your support and messages, middle of the night chats and emails of friendship. Most appreciated and they were lifesavers indeed.

luv

Sara xxxx :bisou:

ps. I have closed Saras attic so don't need the name right now, what should l do?
also my handbag and attic blog have been shut down.

my ebay id is the same....

perhaps l could just be Sazfab or Sarabelle.... l'm sure someone will be in touch to advise me...cheers

I hope you are able to take some time for yourself to be good to yourself.

What about just removing stock and not deleting the name so you have the option later on if you decide to use the name again on Etsy. You can always open a different shop, but at least you have the option. I know how upheavals are and sometimes we make quick decisions that are sort of intended to cleanse everything out, and later we at least wish we had left a breadcrumb. Ditto your domain name. It can be left dormant but owned by you and then redirected to a future shop so people with your business card from years ago can find you. But I know what its like to not want folks to be able to track you also.

I was happy with some of the decisions I made at the time, but other decisions I made left no trail to find or contact old business references or other proof of my existence when I was trying to start over and re-establish my credentials. But then again, I guess that part of my life was over. And in someways it was really best that it got stuck behind.

Anyway, please take care of yourself. I have faith that whatever happens and whatever you decide, you'll be successful at it.

I wish you well Sara. It's a good time to take stock and weigh up your priorities. You can re-charge your batteries and start afresh once the nitty-gritty divorce details are sorted. Hopefully it won't be too long before you will see again that there is much in life to be thankful for. Good luck with your studies.
