I saw the movie Coco Avant Chanel recently. It presents a slightly different history of Chanel and her loves, but the acting is well done. I was a bit disappointed in the fashions.

One of the things I saw in India was the polo regalia of a Maharaja from early 20th c. It looked like a prototype for a very ornate Chanel suit. Chanel could have easily seen these at E. Balsam's. CS
 
Interesting, a slightly different history... to which bio are you referring. I thought it pretty accurate as far as faction goes....after all she did have quite a life avant 'chanel'...

which parts do you think were disappointing as it wasn't a homage to la Mme. de l'atelier..
