coin operated dry cleaning

Hello,
Does anyone know when this became obsolete? I have a gown with a tag "Dry clean only, do not use petroleum solvents or the coin operated method of solvents."

I'm working on getting a photo up, but in the meantime....

It might be easier to date the gown by the style, label, fabric etc...when you have it, the photo will help.

It's likely to be '60s or more recently. Dry clean labels were mandated in the '70s but luxury fabrics in the earlier decade sometimes have them.

I have a dress circa 1980 (late 70s to early 80s) with a tag that has the same wording. It makes me smile when I read it.
