I usually only lurk here occasionally so I hope I'm posting this in the right section!
I run a costume shop, used to sell on eBay, but mostly consign items now. I have two theatre websites, one is dedicated to providing information to community theatres on how to organize a costume shop. I am getting ready to add a links page to my site with sellers who will buy vintage or sell on consignment. If you're willing to be listed, you can post or email me the following information:
Your site address
The city of your B&M if you have one
Your state, or states you'd provide services to
Your specialty, or specific items or eras you're looking for
Whether you would be willing to consign, buy at wholesale prices, both, or depends on the type of item
Any other information you want in your link
I hope it's ok to ask for this--it's been a great opportunity for our theatre, and we've been selling a lot of items in the last 3 years. It's a great fundraiser for our theatre, and we also have "saved" a lot of fantastic vintage pieces by selling them and replacing them with newly built pieces for the stage.
