confirming this maxi dress as early 70s?

Hi Everyone, I seem to be having trouble confidently placing these 60s 70s maxi's....anyway, I've listed this as 70s and am wondering if there are particular features that suggest it goes into the 70s and not late 60s?

I can't help you place it on one side or the other of 1970, but the large flowers. high waist line and full skirt remind me of my 1970 prom dress.

I agree this one is not so easy to pinpoint the date. I can add that it looks more like a later 1960s party dress, or hostess dress. Not so much a maxi dress the way I think of them (I was around when they were around) although it is of course full length. I get a sort of "suburban housewife goes to a summer wedding" vibe from this dress. The bodice is fairly full coverage, I guess that is why I get that vibe.

I generally think of maxis as being early '70s but yours has the distinctive bust seams that were popular in the '60s so I vote very late '60s.

And that font on the label, just looks 70s. Also, the soft pastels, the look of the floral print, etc.
