That is an interesting garment. Can you show us some of the construction details? Close ups of inside seams, finishing on the hems, close ups of any buttonholes. Also the area where the label would have been. Are the logos embroidered on? Or are they appliques or printed?

While we cannot authenticate here on the Forums, perhaps we can give an opinion about it being couture or not.

Forgive my apparent misunderstanding... but the title of your post is, "Could this be vintage Chanel?"

The label say Simple Vera Wang, which is a modern line of clothing.

Simply Vera Wang is not on a garment label, it's printed on the hanger the garment is on.

The quality of the stitching and serging that I see is basic r-t-w as far as I can tell. As is the machine embroidery on the CCs.
