Could this lingerie be vintage? Tag reads "HAREM".

Hi all! This piece has me rather perplexed-the cut looks distinctly vintage to me, but the interior tag that says "Harem" looks somewhat modern. There is another tag, by the waist, that says "Target" yet looks more aged...I'm not sure if this is a result of actual wear to the tag from washing perhaps, or an actual vintage piece? It reads "Harem" and is made in Australia. It is sized a 10, but also a "M" for Medium which suggests US sizing to me...even if this is not vintage, can anyone assist me regarding what key words I could use for the cut/style? I'm still in the process of learning about vintage i n general, and vintage lingerie at present is mostly an unexplored territory for me! I ran a search for "Harem" but didn't see anything similar to this. All input is appreciated, thanks so much!

Can you show the labels you mention please?

It looks to me like a heavily 'upcycled' nightgown or perhaps teddy. I don't think any of the embellishments would have been on the original garment (blue lace, rose, string beads).
Being labelled Target, there's also the chance this is a modern interpretation of a 'vintage' style.
In either case I don't think it retains the original design any more and could not be called vintage.

Hi,
Well this one is certainly unusual- but it is not Vintage. Like Melanie has said, its appears to have been extensively embellished after purchase. It does remind me of the cut of 1980s lingerie which may indicate that is styled in a 'Vintage' way. The hem lace looks to have been added later along with the appliquéd motifs?

Thank you for the input! Perhaps the "Harem" company embellishes these? That would make sense as to why I can't find anything about it; perhaps it's an older Target piece that was modified and re-sold in a boutique or something? Regardless, thanks for your consideration and input!
