Could use some help with date

He is being a creep! JK! Ok the box patent date is 1908 on these kid leather lace up boots. Never been worn, found in the balcony of a shoe store under a bench.

Thanks in advance for any help with dating these, I am thinking around 1910.

I was going to say early teens, however this is only a guess.

What a wonderful find! These boots are beautiful!

That is really nice to have the box with the boots. The boots are typical of just pre WW1 or possibly very early WW1, c. 1911 - 1915. They have the 'kidney' heel as they called it as the time. Essentially a cuban heel with a slightly curvier neck. That slightly domed pointed toe is typical of then too.
 
I had two pair of these last year but they weren't in as good condition as these. Are they NOS? And they certainly didn't have the box!

I think mine sold for about $50.00 each.
