Cuddlecoat by Victor Joris?

Hi all,

I got this fantastic coat (which I absolutely love by the way) with the label Cuddlecoat. After a fair amount of research I now know that the company has been in existence since 1916 but that Victor Joris was the designer from 1958 and into the 70s and won two Coty Fashion Critics Awards during that time. My question is, can I be certain that the coat was designed by him? I think it's the right period. Would you say it's late 60s? Both the ILGWU and the Coat and Suit Industry tag seem to be from that period, though the Coat and Suit tag doesn't say Recovery Board like it does on most I have seen.

Separately, do you think this is wool?

Thank you
Victoria

Those lateral French seams were very popular in 1970 collections - I have a couple of dresses dated from 1970 on the nose with that same feature.
