Hello,
I found this lovely novelty wool jacket with cool buttons. It has attached side belt. Folded cuff with fancy button, green lining with lots of waist darting. Poofed out hip pockets. darted at the breasts. any ideas about this jacket? Thanks

at first glance, the style and buttons look 40's to me

novelty wool. huh, never heard of it referred to as that before. we used to just call it slubbed or tweed or both.

nice colorway...

just how big/small is that little number???:rolleyes:
 
Hi Mary...you are right about the wool....I didn't know what to call it...I made up the name...LOL...The chest is 38", 16" shoulders, 19" sleeves top of shoulder to cuff, 28" length.
