Cute Personal Clock

Okay, not a "vintage clothing item" per se but definitely a personal accessory. This is a little travel clock that a man would have carried with him that folds in its case. The case has a small greek key design around the edge. I have had some photo difficulty this morning because the humidity is fogging up my lens.

I'll fire up inkfrog and post more pics but was eager to start with this one.

I am usually one of the people that answers clocks questions, but i am a little stuck here and my expertise usually leans toward grandfathers and figural. Its unmarked, but i thought it was neat anyhow. The hands look like they could be mother or pearl, but might not be.

For all I know, it could be 1970s even with that greek key/deco-y vibe because that would probably be about my speed these days. Does anyone have any other ideas on where i should look for information. I usually know where to go, but not as much on THIS type of clock.

btw, no alarm - and its an 8 day clock...

Ohhhh....

My grandmother has one of those. I remember seeing it when I was searching through her boxes of stuff on table in a bedroom. If I remember correctly grandmother had a label with hers. I will be going down on Wednesday to see her, so I will hunt it down for you......
And be watching the thread for clues myself.....

Great!
Take a photo if you can. I would love to see it.

Sometimes things are similar style but not identical (and many makers copied eachother). If absolutely identical, what the label looks like may tell us too.

I just remembered i had forgotten to post pictures of the case.

It has been sitting on my desk ticking away and i better finish photos before i get WAY too attached to it. I have been using it to tell time there and better get ahold of myself before it looks too natural
