I escorted my daughter recently to one of her concerts. I must say I was very impressed with each costume change this gal did, almost as much as Cher in her day. 4-5" heels with each outfit dancing the whole time. I give her credit for her cameleon career. She didn't do this song that night but I LOVE it! We heard a bunch of thump, thump, thump music with some of her old stuff thrown in. Pussycat dolls opened for her, ouch!

Janine - It is Christina Aguilera (sp?). The video has a big band sound with her dressed in various 40's inspired outfits, some with a pin-up girl feel.

OK. I've heard the name and have seen a photo next to news captions on Yahoo's front page - but I've never seen this woman in motion, nor heard her sing. She's a singer, right?

Well, Madonna did a 50's look with her Marilyn Monroe glam thing.

I thought maybe, like Cher and Madonna there was another one-named entertainer out there that I'd never heard of.

Well, that goes without saying for most pop intertainers. I don't pay any, or much, attention to them.
