I think the sad passing of legendary Hollywood dancer Cyd Charisse has already been mentioned here, but just posted a super quick tribute on my blog, with a few images.

Thanks for that! She was a really amazing woman.

Strangely, I've never seen most of her movies. But Brigadoon is one of my husband's favorites. I think I'll suggest we watch it tonight.

I just saw clips from Singing in the Rain the other morning. Talk about great dancing!

Oh, she was so lovely...What movie was I watching (was it Rain?) where the lead spied the gorgeous gal across the room (Charisse) and was drawn to her, with elegant dance number following, of course. I remember that she was wearing something neat and spangly, and was just so elegant!
