Dark Orange Camel Gear/Camel GT Jacket

So I found this on a thrift store romp and bought it on a whim. I am wondering about the date of the item as well as pricing.

I think it's 80s although it could be early '90s.

Seems 80-ish to me too.
I guess you know that:

I know in 1990s Camel used to have a program similar to Marlboro Miles. You collected points then redeemed for Camel branded merchandise. This looks like it could have been part of their promo items. Just a thought.

That occurred to me too, their premium program. Could very well be merch from that.
Their earliest ad campaigns stated that their tobacco was so superior, that they need not offer premiums, but they did, and not just in the 90s.

What does the label on the neck say?

If it says "camel gear" it's probably from the 80's...

It does say camel gear.
