Ok I am very unsure about this dress since it has a few contradiction features.
It was labeled as a 1950s dress, but the seller said she was unsure. I honestly think its 1940s... maybe mid I see WWII?
But what do I know sometimes lol. It has a spag. strap. lining/under dress, that is acetate taffeta very pale pink with a heart shaped bodice. it is sewn/attached to the lace outer layer at the waist. Has a seamstress? label. I can find any info on the label. I am assuming it is a little custom shop. I am not sure of the material of the lace, prob. cotton. It zips up the side on the under layer, but the lace snaps closed. It snaps all the way under the arm pit.
The front buttons are not functional, they are decoration. It does have 3-4 snaps though down the front under the faux buttons.
There is some fullness to the skirt, but I do not think a crinoline is meant to be worn with it.
So is WWII the right hunch? or is this early 50s?
Thank you... if you need anymore pictures then please let me know!
