date check on a fur coat

So I need some help with a date on this mink (I think this is mink) cape style coat. The only thing I can find on it is a stamp on the hide that says Hollander dyed furs. Sketchy internet research dates this company back to the 30s-40s, but I am not sure how long they were around dying hides. Judging by the condition of the coat, it seems to be that old, but I would rather get some clarification from the experts! :) Hopefully the pics will help...

Does it have sleeves, or is it just a capelet? What sort of fabric is it lined with? Do you have an photos of the interior? Does it have shoulder pads?

From what you have so far, I would say '40s.

Not much help on date, but it's not mink. Looks like rabbit from the close up? I'm sure someone will be able to confirm that though. Really pretty shape!

It does not have sleeves, just a cape. The interior feels like a nylon lining but I am not sure on that and it does not have shoulder pads. I will try to post some more pics tonight of the interior lining and of the Hollander stamp. It looks like it may have had a closure at one time that came off. Seems like there is an indentation in the fur from a button.
