Date check on aisle 10

Love this dress... The crochet and soutache are awesome. I am guesing it is late 30's or early 40's.... It has a side metal zipper and the shape is not quite 50's 60's... The crochet is also tellling me older. The dress is also longer it has a 8 inch hem....

It also has two age spots - would white vinegar and water soluti9on be best on this?

I'm not sure Chris. It does look 50s to me but maybe i am not seeing it right - I know what you mean when you have something up close and it feels not quite right for your initial thought.

I finally noticed alot of alterations on dress....It was not saying 60's to me or 50's so I pulled the alterations out

Iam glad I did.... I said what the hell I think someone was trying to update an older dress... So I pulled it all out.... Here are the pictures... The back needs to be pressed but I wanted to get pictures first. It still can be fifties.. But the metal side zipper nd the side profile do nt say 50's....

I think its late 50s as well. The beige lace on beige textile is a very late 50s - early 60s thing to do. However, its the bust darts that are really typical of the late 50s.
