:hiya: I am going to say that I think most of these hats are 60s and nice, too!

Keep in mind that red hats will often sell well on their own. Other hats, unless super fancy, designer, or unique, that are from the late 50s-newer, will sell best in a lot.

l was partuclarly puzzled that the three dark ones sit scull cap like on the back of the head..whichwa 30-50s...l'm kinda happy with the red one being a 60s ..
but the feathers is just that feathers on a hard scull cap....

Yes, remember the Red Hat Society ladies. I don't know if they have them in the UK are always looking for red hats. I have absolutely no idea about the feathered hat, though it is rather unusual.

I think the big factor is "would someone wear it today?". Some of the small perch hats, etc, just aren't as sought after for street wear as say some of the fedora or bucket styles are. Of course reenactors always buy hats and collectors do regardless of if it is currently in style or not....but having both types of buyers wanting the hat is always a good thing. Otherwise if something is not particularly unusual/desirable or doesn't have the street wear factor, i would probably lot them too.

I get confused sometimes because there are a lot of hats you would think were flapper-ish and they are really "flapper revival" from the 60s.

I would be curious to see the second from last velvet hat on a manni, a styrofoam head, etc to see how much it covers.
