Date help on some things, please

I'm going through my closets & boxes, and yes, I'm actually working on listings! :yay: It's amazing that I'm finally getting around to this. :)

I would appreciate some date help with the following items.

The deep pleats and the low waistline make me think 1960s on this dress. It is navy and made of wool.

The large-ish, pointy collar and double-breasted, princess-line styling make me think late '60s on this coat.

I'm completely stumped on this pony fur (or possibly astrakhan?) cape. It's a beautiful, rich brown and has arm loops inside to keep it in place when worn. I haven't been able to find anything about the label.

Thank you!

How short is that skirt, Laura? I would guess 60s on the first one too. I like the fact that the piping/welting that gives it a finished look. You could wear a belt, but it is not 100% mandatory like some dresses with just the straight seam

The second one, not because of the wideness of the collar but because of the shape+ wideness i am wondering if that might push it just every so slightly into the 70s, but wait for the experts :)

I have no clue whatsoever on the last one.

I have no idea on the pony coat but I think you may be right on the dress being 60s. I will have to say the green coat would be 70s with the collar, belt in back and double breasted feature.

The coat screams 70's to me, esp. with that collar and the belt in back.... I can't tell on the pony cape; I've never seen anything like it! But the label looks like those put in by upscale department stores in coats, furs & better-quality fake furs in the 60s and into the 70's. This wouldn't be a manufacturer's label, which is likely why you can't find any info on it; it would be the store's own label. The cape was probably quite expensive when new, based just on the label--even if you couldn't tell by looking at it (which you can, for sure!). I'd guess mid-60s on that cape, as wasn't that when all the pony fur stuff was popular?
