Would this be late 40's to very early 50's? It is labeled "Trim Look Fashions," and is made of acetate. Has a cute peplum jacket that closes only with a hook & eye at the waist, and has large buttons on the long, rounded-lapel collar. And I cannot figure out how the "tabs" on the jacket sleeves are supposed to be--turned down or left straight up? Side metal zipper, and belt with stiffened-fabric backing. I think it's been shortened at the hem a bit. And I cannot remember the term for this neckline--can somebody help? And, best of all, it is a large or extra-large! I may keep it for me if it fits!

Thanks in advance!

l would say this is a 'cusp' item...circa 1948-52...the cuffs are correct upright, the neckline reminds me of a sweetheart neckline, have heard it called cupid, dunno why perhpas because its double scalloped ?

looks to be in good condition!
