Rushing to get some stuff listed b-4 I go up north to visit my mom tomorrow, and am having a "block" with this bag! I fear it just doesn't show as nice in photos as in person, but it's really cute! The flap with swivel clasp looks kind of "modern" art deco-ish to me, and the asymmetrical placement of the strap handle is unusual. "Art-Deco Kelly Bag, whatever"?
And I can't figure a date on it--late 50s/early 60s? Marked "Tower Chicago"; can't find out anything about this brand; anybody know anything? Somebody has one listed on eBay, but no info on maker & I can't find any, either. TIA, as always!
