Date of manufacture for Australian Label please

Hi there - I have come across a suit with the Label "Australian Inspiration". Wondering if anyone knows any detail of this label please? The suit features velcro attached shoulder pads and is Made in Australia. Fabric content is acrylic, poly and nylon. Thanks in advance.
 
Hi Karie, and welcome to the forums. It would be very helpful if you can include photos of the garment and labels, but from the available information I think you're likely looking at a mid '80s to early '90s date. I'm not familiar with 'Australian Inspiration' label, it sounds more like marketing speak than a fashion company, and a hard term to search but I'll see what I can find for you.
 
I might be wrong on the date. There's a currently operating company called 'Australian Inspiration' based in Montmorency (Victoria) that was registered in 2010. I also found a dress on ebay that's a bit hard to date, but looks modern.
 
IMG-3939.JPG Howdy - Is this Nicole by any chance? I used to stock your fabulous book years ago....Anyway, yes, I figured it would be a bit of an "80's does 50's" or "90s does 40's" look. I only just grabbed it out of storage late last night so here's a quick pic of the label. You can also see a little of the fabric too. Thanks again x

Your label is the same as the one on ebay. I can't post a link but if you search for 'Australian Inspiration' there you should find it. It appears to be late '80s to early '90s in style but of course, could be more modern for a mature woman. Wish I could find more on the label, there was nothing on Trove.

ASIC's business name register says it was registered in May 2010 by Christine Lorraine Lister and there's an address in Montmorency. Looks like it might be residential so maybe a small business operating from home?
