Date on quilted bedroom slippers

Hi all!

I have these lovely little bedroom slippers from Mohawk. Leather sole, flexible cardboard insole. They are marked a size 50 and fit about a 6. I'm getting a 20s-30s feel about them. Any thoughts appreciated.

That style was around for decades. I think it's safe to date as 1930s but they might be older.
