Dates in Shoes

I like this very much:

(from a pair of Red or Dead shoes)
aside from being a good pun, it's not common to find exact dates in footwear, the one exception being military and uniform styles I find.
I have one pair of ladies shoes that are dated, why I don't know;

These also have resin insoles, which has to be the strangest make do and mend I've seen.

I can't see the date on the red or dead pair (the lace blocks it!). What is it?

I don't know the date either, they're not mine I just saw it today and noticed the mark, but they are contemporary - I think it probably ends in 05. They are 80's style plain white lace up pixie flats with a peep toe and triangular cut outs all over.
