dating 1950s (?) mini pearl beaded clutch or change purse

Hi Everyone, two questions

1. am I right in a 1950s date range ?
2. Would this be considered a clutch or change purse?

I associate these pearl beaded bags from Japan and Hong Kong to be from the 1950s and 1960s (the same sort of time they were making the beaded shell tops)
The size you have would be a change purse. I would say a clutch needs to be at least the size of your hand.
