Dating a bracelet

I bought this off of someone saying it was from the 1920s but I'm very curious if there are any second opinions! Also does anyone know what material is this made out of?

It looks a bit like olive wood or ebony wood in the photos. Could be 1920s, but I cannot tell without handling it.

I believe it's horn. If you search "horn snake bangle" you'll find others. I can't help with dating it.
