Dating a faux fur jacket

I have purchased a faux fur jacket in what seems to be a 40s or 50s style but looking at the label and texture I believe it's a lot more modern. I have this jacket for my personal use so I'm not hung up on how old it may be, but any ideas on the likely era would be amazing.

It may be early 70s. I had a faux fur "chubby" similar to this style.

Lovely. Both could be correct. Late 60s to early 70s would be my best guess. The brooch does not look like it is original to the jacket but it's lovely also.

My warning, is to make sure the cleaner follows the directions. Mine was damaged because they did not follow the clean like fur label.
