Dating a Hadley Cashmere Sweater

Although I looked on the label resource Hadley page I am still undecided about era for this sweater. I think it is 40's because of the style and the glass buttons. The label could be almost any era it seems! It is definitely not a "sweater girl" sweater. It doesn't have a 60's boxy shape but it is fairly equal widthwise from the shoulders to the bottom band.
It would be great to get other people's opinions. Thank you in advance!
