This was bought from a woman whose grandmother was a banking executive in Palm Beach in the 60s and 70s. The tag is Keith Adams for Tannel. I would love to know more info on the label and date.

Thanks for the label pic: very helpful. I couldn't find anything on the manufacturer but found a heap of '60s and '70s fashions which is in keeping with your dress. I even found the same dress in another colour (although the seller seems to think it's contemporary). It looks early '70s polyester knit to me.

Here is a bit of information, from a 1969 ad:

"At 35 (Keith) Adams is a veteran of 16 years in the design field, the last five for a ready-to-wear complex that includes Young Viewpoint (half sizes), Tannel (petites), and Robert Peters for Micia of Rome (juniors). As executive designer for these three knitwear labels, he dresses many sizes and ages, but feels most proud of his contribution for 'women who feel 40, dress 40, look 40.'"

I found references to Keith Adams for Tannel through at least 1977.
