Dating a straw? hat

I wonder if it’s possible to date this hat. I got it an antique store, snapped it up actually because I’ve been looking for a big floppy hat. I suppose there’s a 50/50 chance it’s from Walmart. lol The paper on the inside had me questioning it so here it is. Thank you!

I suspect 1970s at the oldest. It has been made probably in China or somewhere in SE Asia, for export
