Any ideas what decade this suit is from?
The sleeves are 3/4 length, and there is black velvet around the collar.
Suit is fully lined, and the skirt is about an inch shorter than shown on the photos(had to pin it on my dress form as it was too small for her). So it is around knee length.
There is an old union label in the in the side seam of the jacket.
No other labels.
I tried to make the jacket more fitted on the bust form, but it sits more naturally in the second picture.
