dating an embroidered purse with a crazy clasp

Hi all-

very pretty little purse. Embroidered body with a pink silk (very torn) lining. Super cool clasp/top is very heavy and has all these little cherub guys on it

any ideas on dating or more info anyone might know? style or type?

Petit point purse, and I would think Late Victorian/Edwardian. The frame is wonderful.
