Dating An Irish Tweed Jacket

Hi!

I have a jacket by Mairi Macintyre (Harrogate) which from doing some research, I assumed was 60s possibly 70s (Mairi Macintyre - Harrogate as a label started in '58 from what I gather). However, there is also a Rogant Irish Tweed label in the coat which I've been lead to believe is more likely late 70s/80s. I've attached photos of the jacket, labels and a close up of a button to show the design too. I'm thinking it's possibly 70s which would be the halfway point era wise between the labels but any help would be most appreciated as I'm wanting to sell it with the correct information.

Since it has a Woolmark on the label, we know it’s post 1964. Judging by the care symbols and the absence of the drying symbol which I believe in the UK was introduced in the 1980 standard, I would say it isn’t post 1980. I would agree with 70s but let’s see what others think.

I appreciate the opinions. 70s it likely is then. It did feel like it might be and the extra label info explainations was a great help, thanks. Very sweet I'd you to say it looks cute too! Unfortunately it's a bit big for me so I had to pad myself out a bit for the photo ha!
