Dating and describing Neiman Marcus peep toe shoes.. 50's?

I just got this pair of heels, and the seller wasn't precise at all about dating them (late 40's-60's). I'm getting a 50's feeling, but I'm not sure. Also wondering how to describe the trim, which reminds me of millinery detailing, but is that strictly a hat term? Any thoughts would be most helpful. Thanks!

I know what you mean about milinery trims - I can see flocked or velvet flowers/leaves/foliage and plastic berries/stamen but collectively you might just want to call it a posy?
