Dating and origins of Oriental (Far Eastern) gown

I have just come across this silk gown in a house clearance and know absolutely nothing about it. Could anyone shed some light?

It's heavily stained which is a great pitty because it is beautiful, much nicer in the flesh. It has silver and gold threading and the trim is more of a teal blue not royal blue as shown in photos. The silk lining is so think you can easily see through it.i am 5"6 and it reaches my shins, it also has two splits on either side.

It's a Chinese mandarin styled robe...more than likely made for export. Dating these is tricky as they kept the same styling in place for decades.
I could only guess at the decade here and say it's from the 60s.
