dating another dress. 1950s? 60s?

Into the void

its kind of more of a nightgown I suppose rather then a dress. It is homemade I'm suspecting, no tag. Also it is sewn together in the middle of the dress, so kind of like they just put two halves together? The clasp looks like mother of pearl but plastic I think. Puffs sleeves that have elastics near the end, cute fabric also.

Why do you think a nightgown? Looks like a classic 60s hippie mini dress to me... hard to tell with the sideways photos though. Definitely handmade!
Oh I never thought of that! I guess when I tried it on it was kind of sack-ish on me and fit me more like a night gown, although a short one as I am 5 10.

My first thought was late '60-early '70s maternity smock.

You can rotate your images using the button: just pick "edit" and then look for the "rotate" button. Much easier to see when they're the right way up. Agree that it's home made.

Oh thank you for the tip! Should be all fixed:) thanks for everyone's help, the fabric to me looks strangely familiar like I've seen it before. Maybe it was a popular textile design ? Or maybe something about it is triggering my brain into a kind of false nostalgia. Lol
