These bags can often be difficult to pin down as far as an exact era. While some could be store or catalog bought, many were home made, either from kits or from instructional books that were sold by he companies that made the silk or rayon cording, or imported the beads. Yours could date from the Edwardian - WWI times, or could be 1920s or even 1930s. I do get a general sense of late 'Teens to early-mid 1920s, but I am not sure.

Those "dingleball" embellishments were all the rage from the Edwardian era through the (I think early) 20s.

They are usually referred to as bobbles. But now I might call them "dingles"! Well, maybe not!

I keep going back and looking at this small bag, and each time my first thought is 1930's. Something about the rich dark brown, maybe.
