Dating Bellville Sassoon and what's up with this padding?

Hello again!

I'm going to add this to the label source.
Before I wanted to check with you guys. Am I right that this blazer is from the 90s? (I've been checking their dresses on instagram, and based on the font now I think it's the 80s)
Also, it has strange padding I've never seen before. It doesn't have shoulder pads. (There are no signs of them being removed.) But, it has some form of stuffed padding along the arm line (where my fingers are) It seems to be intentional. Upside down U, along the seems. Have you seen something like this before?

I'm not sure about the padding... from what I read, Mullany joined Bellville Sassoon in 1987, so it would have to be after that. I'm thinking late 80s/early 90s.
