Dating blouse 40's?

Please can someone help me date this blouse. It has ruching at the shoulders, 3 waist darts at the back, a tie and lots of tiny buttons. I was thinking 40's?

What a lovely blouse, looks like a silk crepe and I love those delicate mother of pearl buttons. It does look 40s to me as well, let's see what others think.
