The midi style top and hemline well below the knee suggests late 1950s - eraly 1960s to me. I wonder if there was a tie for the collar? Also, that sort of stylized woven rattan print looks very c. 1960 to me as well. I see it with a classic Chanel Breton hat and those two-tone sling back shoes - its a great example!
 
Thank you Jonathan! I was thinking 60's or 70's so I really appreciate your help. I does have a numbered tag underneath each CHANEL label. Is there a way to ready these and date via the numbers? Thanks again.
 
Claire Schaeffer will know for sure. I was wondering if it might be on the other side of the style period and date from c. 1972 but I don't think that label existed in the 70s (Again Claire will know), I thought that after 1971 you got only the Chanel Creations label but it might be more like 1975 that label shows up. Come tot hink of it, you are right, it really could be early 70s. Hmmmm
 
I know it's a tough call. The skirt is actually right below the knee, it's just this is a large size and too big for the model.
