Dating cheeky novelty keychain (80's?)

This may be a long shot but I'm hoping you all might be able to help me date this keychain I found recently. It reminds me of those super cheesy glitter decal tee shirts from the 80's, but I might be totally off? I plan on giving it to a friend, so it isn't crucial but it would be great to be able to tell him more about it. Any thoughts would be great, thanks!

I would have thought 70s because of the brass fittings, rather than chrome, and the typeface which looks more 70s to me than 80s.

early 80s, I believe. I remember this wordplay being popular then.

Thanks, Jonathan! Like Cin, I immediately associated the phrase with the 80's.. The weight, size, fittings and typeface did make me wonder if it was 70's, so now you've got me curious all over again. Perhaps I should tell him it's 70's-80's? Love to hear more from anyone, thanks for helping me with such a silly little puzzle.

Hobo is a 70s font (despite being from 1915).

Wait! I remembered incorrectly. It's from 1910. There was a second version made in 1915. Still, it's weird it's that old. It looks SO iconically 70s.
