Curious, what do ya'll think about this cuuuute dress and it's little cropped jacket? 30's,40's,50's?
Side metal "crown" zipper, medium weight cotton. Seems to be handmade - no labels.
That is cute - my first thought is '40s revival from the mid '70s but if you can tell us more about construction - how the seams and hem are sewn, button details, is the jacket lined etc - it will help.
Let's see. The jacket is unlined. the bottom hem of the dress has a single over stitch and the seams have a single straight stitch. I'm not too familiar with buttons, but they are a hard plastic -blue, round. Hope this helps!! Thank you.
I agree with Nicole, it looks to be a 1970s dress done in the 1940s style. As a matter of fact I still have a very similar dress that I myself wore back in the day, circa 1972.
