Dating dress 20s? Or 30s?

Hi. I found this amazing dress and dont have a ton of experience with dresses this old. 20s? 30s? Any other info? Thanks!

1930s 40 probally early 40 is there side metal zipper?

I would say 1940s on this one.

Are there any shoulder pads or evidence that there have been? Does it seem to have been shortened. I agree, it is likely 1940's.
