Dating Dress - 40s?

Hey everyone,

I may have my hopes set too high but I think this must be 40s? It has its belt.. unfortunately the belt isn't exactly wearable, its in bad shape. Should I include a photo?

No shoulder Pads.. or signs of shoulder pads?

I apologize for the poor quality of the dress. It hasn't been washed, or ironed.. I'm rather anxious.

Lovely dress - I agree with '40s. It looks rayon and should come up nicely with a hand wash. Great daisy print.

Nicole, thank you! I handwashed and it looks absolutely lovely! Sadly, it doesn't photograph well.
