Dating Help: (60s?) Denim Jacket With ACWA Tag

I'm confused as far as this jacket goes.

The union tag has a copyright of 1949 apparently they stopped using this tag in 1968. Ikewewe from ebay says that the red numbers might indicate that it's older.

It's doesn't have any care tags even though it's in mint condition, so it couldn't be from the 70s. I'm thinking late 60s. It certainly doesn't look like a 50's chore jacket.

Am I correct? or could it be 50s?




 
There was a link posted on this board that showed the different variations of that textile workers label that would more narrowly date it, but I cannot seem to find it. Perhaps someone will come along and post it again...

"Sanfordized" as a term started being used in the 1930s, but that doesn't help as we know this is much later. I'll have to click on the pics and get a closer look. Kind of interesting to see that Union label pop up in central america..
