Dating Help Request for Ladies Coat

Hi, my daughter picked up this coat from the thrift store and we're trying to see if we can figure out when it was produced. The only tag on it is what I think is a very faded version of the International Ladies’ Garment Workers’ Union (ILGWU) from between 1974 - 1995. I'm hoping you can help me narrow it down further based on the styling and construction. My uneducated guess is mid 80s. What do you think?

the stand up collar, seaming and domed buttons suggests late 1960s to me. it's a great coat!

oh, duh, that union label.

I see 70s. The ILGWU label is definitely post 1974

I’m seeing late 70s- early 80s , that extra seam detailing (can’t think of the name of this) to the collar and along to the sides of the button placket and the slightly wider shape, my grandmother and her peers used to wear similar style coats around then
