Dating help with 2 coats

Hi all-
I found these fabulous plus sized coats yesterday- perfect now that the weather is becoming frigid!

The black one is faux fur and I'm guessing its late 70s or early 80s from the shoulder treatment. Does that have a name?

The second is almost ankle length and has these strange sewn in pleats (I'm guessing that has a name too). Its almost a felt- like material. It has a union tag but I can't make it out. Since its black and white I'm guessing its pre- mid 70s but otherwise I'm at a loss.

The first looks like it has shoulder flanges. The second has raglan sleeves and looks like the seams have been left open, topstitched and set onto a contrast underlay. Neat effect.

Thanks for the info so far, ya'll. Very helpful! Here is a close-er up of the longer coat, I can take more in the morning if that would be helpful.

So, 70s or 80s on the black and 60s on the redish one?
